Workshop / Course Cancellation and Refund Policy

Workshop / course fee refund requests made more than 7 days prior to a workshop or course will be refunded minus the Eventbrite service fee. Workshop / course fees will not be refunded for cancellations made within 7 days prior to the workshop / course commencement. Art & Wellbeing cannot accept responsibility for changes to participants personal circumstances that prevent attendance once a course has commenced. Workshops missed are the participants’ responsibility and are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

 

Full refunds of fees will only be given if the course or workshop is cancelled by Art & Wellbeing or a place is not available. Should a workshop or course have to be cancelled due to insufficient bookings, any participant booked into that workshop will be contacted and a full refund arranged. Refunds are issued by Eventbrite and will be deposited back into the same place they were received from.

Please note: refunds may take up to 5 business days to be processed and a further 5 business days to appear in your account depending on your banks' procedures.

Participant Health Declaration

All attendees of Art & Wellbeing Workshops must commit to stopping the spread of COVID-19.

The primary ticket purchaser agrees that they nor anyone in their group will attend the event if, at the time of the event, they are unwell or subject to a self-quarantine or self-isolation period

 

This includes;

-  If the ticket holder is displaying flu-like symptoms within the last 7 days.

- The ticket holder agrees that they or their household members have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 7 days.

- The ticket holder declares that they or household members have not knowingly been exposed to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 7 days.

- The ticket holder additionally declares that they have not travelled to any region that has been considered a hotspot within the last 7 days.

Art & Wellbeing follows Government protocols and health alerts. It is up to the individual to wear a mask if their needs require these measures. Otherwise the facilitator will follow the up to date health protocols advised.

Work Health and Safety Policy

Art & Wellbeing is committed to the active promotion of Work Health and Safety for all participants. Workshop participants are responsible for their own health, safety and welfare. Participants are asked to also be mindful of each other regarding their health and safety within the studio environment.

Participants should report unsafe conditions, faulty equipment and accidents to the facilitator immediately. 

Participant artwork

Artwork that is kept on site to dry or for future workshop use will be stored in a safe and secure place. However, there is always a chance that damage or loss may occur to any artwork on site so please decide for yourself whether to keep on site or take your work home.Art & Wellbeing accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to participant artwork or belongings left on site. It is the participants responsibility to collect their own artwork at a pre-arranged time. Any art uncollected at the end of a workshop or course will be kept for 6 weeks and then discarded unless other specific arrangements are made.

Payment of Fees

Workshop fees are to be paid via Eventbrite. Payment of the full workshop or course fees via Eventbrites' secure online credit card payment system is required at the time of booking to guarantee your place. Tax receipts will be provided on receipt of payment if required. â€‹

Prior to purchasing a ticket through the Eventbrite website, you may be required to register for a user account and to nominate an email address and password for your account. You must maintain the confidentiality and security of your user account (including your password) and not provide it to any other person.

Photography

From time to time the workshop facilitator will take photos during workshops of participants and artworks. These photos are used for Art & Wellbeing promotional purposes only including online and print. As a condition of booking a workshop or course your consent is implied. Should you not wish photos of you, your child or your artwork to be taken and used please notify the facilitator.

Class Conduct

During Art & Wellbeing workshops it is expected that participants will respect fellow participants, artwork and property. Discrimination on the grounds of a persons' age, race, gender, sexuality, marital status, physical or intellectual disability, or religion will not be tolerated. Any inappropriate or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the workshop. In this instance, a refund will not be provided.

Privacy Policy

When you send Art & Wellbeing an email, register your contact details or enrol in a course or workshop, your contact details will be recorded. Art & Wellbeing will not disclose your contact details to any third parties. Art & Wellbeing will from time-to-time send emails to participants for the purpose of marketing. Should you not wish to receive these emails, please indicate that you wish to unsubscribe and you will be removed from the mailing list.
