Art Therapy Groups
in Aged Care
Sessions are thoughtfully designed for older adults in residential aged care offering a combination of structure and flexibility to ensure people are supported to engage in the way that works best for them.

Groups are 90 minutes and accessible for people with varied capabilities and changing needs. These programs foster creative exploration, self-expression relaxation, emotional wellbeing, confidence and spark moments of playful engagment.
Over time, these sessions often become a source of joy, confidence, and social connection.
In one-on-one art therapy sessions, you and your therapist work together to focus on what matters most to you and support your emotional wellbeing.

Sessions last 60 minutes, giving you time to express yourself through a variety of materials like painting, drawing, clay, mixed media, and collage—all with gentle support and guidance.

No art experience is needed.

Individual sessions can be accessed through NDIS plans (self- or plan-managed) and are billed under the counselling or other therapy line item.

Home visits are available by consultation and offer an accessible way for adults and older adults to engage in art therapy from the comfort of home.

This can be a helpful option for those living with limited mobility, memory loss, chronic illness, or who find it difficult to leave home.

Home visits can be accessed through NDIS plans (self-managed or plan-managed) and are billed under the counselling or other therapy line item.

Shared creative experiences offer (great) grandparents, grandchildren, and families a special way to connect and enjoy time together.

These fun and supportive sessions use art and play to celebrate life and spark the imagination.

Choose from activities like puppet making, drawing and painting games, or sandtray and figurine exploration—each designed to encourage creating together and sharing stories.
